ADA, Mich.- The Hawks boys basketball team began the 2025-26 campaign with a home victory against West Michigan Aviation Academy, 49-45. The Hawks and Aviators traded the lead back and forth all game long, but the Hawks held on at the end with free throws and a couple of great defensive stands. Eega Ntanyl led all scorers in the game with 20-points. Byrson Weber scored 9, Brody VanEngen with 8, Heath Cleck with 7, Will Lowry with 3, and AJ Martin rounded out the Hawks scoring with 2-points. Forest Hills Eastern hosts Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian on Friday, December 5th at 7pm.
